James Douglas Morrison, December 8, 1943 - July 3, 1971

The last Doors album, completed in the wake of the critical panning of Soft Parade, preceded by the equally bluesand roots oriented Morrison Hotel/Hard Rock Cafe, reflected a powerful shift, and emergence of Morrison into full shamanic  mode. Wreckless and impassioned, great rock-blues-jazz fusion. Some recent criticism suggests that the Doors and Morrison are now a less regarded group. Nevertheless, the tunes and the legend will live on. A favorite Doors  tune from the album of the same name [L.A.Woman]
